It’s a HELL!!!Title:Free Crap on The Side of the Road - A Collection of Crappy Photos and Crappy Haiku Poems about Free Crap Found on the Side of the RoadWritten Synopsis:Have you ever seen someone’s crap on the side of the road with a free sign attached to it? Maybe not even with the sign - it’s just free crap? They’re hoping they won’t have to take a trip to the dump so they just leave it out in their yard or on the corner underneath the weathered and tilted stop sign? I seek that free crap out.I seek it out because it inspires me. Free crap on the side of the road inspires you? Indeed. Seeing an old copier or a mattress (god - there are so many mattresses) or a wet bag of clothes inspires me. I take a picture of it. Sometimes the photo is artsy fartsy. Sometimes it’s just a photo. Then I write a haiku poem about the copier, the mattress, the wet bag of clothes.Free Crap on The Side of the Road - A Collection of Crappy Photos and Crappy Haiku Poems about Free Crap Found on the Side of the Road will be a celebration of crappy crap, crappy photos and crappy poems.
Examples of the book’s concept:If I find a doll on the side of the road it might inspire a haiku poem about how they had to give that doll up because it killed two siblings. If I find a TV on the side of the road It might inspire a haiku poem about “Gilligan’s Island.”If I find a bag of wet clothes on the side of the road it might inspire a poem about a nearby nudist colony.
These are the Auden-esque poems I will write. The Wordsworthian poems that will inspire others. The Yeats-ish poems that will make people, for once, think long and hard about free crap found on the side of the road.
